Authorities in Guangzhou, the capital of south Chinas Guangdong Province, announced Monday that the local senior high school entrance examination scheduled for June 20-22 would be postponed to July over COVID-19.
People with yellow Suikang code should take COVID-19 test asap
Today (May 28), around 50,000 people in Guangzhou see their Suikang codes (穗康码) turn yellow, which means they are at risk of infecting COVID-19, because they have been to the citys key venues (such as Liwan Central Hospital of Guangzhou) with higher exposure risk of COVID-19 for over 40 minutes and have not received a nucleic acid test since May 21.
Guangzhou reports 4 confirmed & 10 asymptomatic cases during May 21-28
Between May 21 and 2pm of May 28, Guangzhou reported 4 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 10 asymptomatic cases, including 5 asymptomatic cases reported today (May 28). All the above cases are under treatment and quarantine at the Guangzhou No.8 Peoples Hospital, the designated hospital for COVID-19 treatment and isolation in the city.
